The Metropolenhaus is part of the new urban district Südliche Friedrichstadt, closing one of the cities last big gaps. Not willing just to profit from its central location, Metropolenhaus combines living, working and culture, to return resources to the city through a special economic and programmatic concept. bfstudio-archtekten construe and construct architecture that embraces the urban space as a resource for urban programs. Motivated by a structural design approach, they connect societal reflection with architectural ambition.
