Stephan Reiß-Schmidt, Dipl.-Ing., studied architecture and urban planning at RWTH Aachen. 1996-2017 he was director of the Department for Urban Development Planning of the City of Munich. After retirement, he works now as a freelance urbanist and speaks and publishes about urban and regional development. Member of DASL, ISOCARP, SRL.
