We continue with our traditional swimming competition between Bode Museum and Palace Bridge — if the water quality allows it — on Sunday, July 1st, 2018, (www.flussbad-berlin.de/events).
The realisation of the ‘Berlin Flussbad Cup’ is made possible due to funding, existing since 2014, from the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety and the Berlin Senate Department for Urban Development and the Environment as part of their ‘National Urban Planning Project’ programme.The goal of the annual swimming competition is not only to further communicate the ‘Flussbad’ project, but to draw attention to the potential benefits of a clean and swimmable Spree River, and to send a clear message on behalf of water conservation and environmental protection more generally.

Note: Swimming the channel is only possible if you registered with Flussbad Berlin e.V. until Sunday June 25th.
