RotterZwam is a business case based on the Blue Economy by Gunter Pauli. RotterZwam collects one ‘waste’ stream from the city and makes several new products out of it without having waste themselves. Next to that they sell their mushrooms only locally and they collect all coffee waste by electric vehicle. RotterZwam is open source. They have a special internship in which they teach entrepreneurs from all over the world to start a mushroom farm their own community.
