As a student in South Africa Duzan learnt the power of design lies not in aesthetics, but in the ability to help solve societal challenges. He believes that we have an obligation as designers to proactively develop strategies on all scales to make a meaningful and lasting contribution to solving issues of poverty, resource depletion and climate change.
