Keynote: Jean-Philippe Vassal, Lacaton & Vassal

Jean-Philippe Vassal worked as urban planner in Niger from 1980 to 1985, he is Professor at UDK Berlin since 2012. The office Lacaton & Vassal is based in Paris, has an international practice, working on various programs of public buildings, housings, and urban planning.

All the projects are based on a principle of generosity and economy, serving life and freedom, appropriation, with the aim of changing the standard.
