Theresa Hyuna Hwang, Department of Places

Theresa Hwang is a community-engaged architect and directs Department of Places, a participatory design firm based in Los Angeles, CA. For 15 years, she has focused on equitable community development. She has a Master of Architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
