Bridging Berlin’s government district
Vor der Freitreppe des Reichstages
The river Spree runs through the heart of Berlin’s government district, diving its green and built space into two but, thankfully, united by bridges. In a city with a history as complex as Berlin’s, bridges do more than just link spaces; they also represent some of the first routes crossed between east and west. This tour will see kids and adults walk over and under a range different bridges, sketching, analysing types of construction and even attempting to build their own types of bridges.
