How well do you know “Plattenbauten”, buildings made of pre-fabricated concrete slabs and often referred to as “pre-fabs”. We invite you to revisit and discover the creative potential of this building type. So here’s the chance to visit a flat in Berlin-Mitte that has been restored into its „raw condition“. It is equipped with furniture objects and materials from its time of origin.

Images will be on display demonstrating how tenants have creatively transformed their own pre-fabs. Also shown: “pre-fab experts” on film – documentary interviews with specialists of pre-fab buildings of the past, present and future.
