Actors of Urban Change 2013 – 2015
Exhibition on cultural projects as urban development
11 - 28 JUN
im Aufbau Haus
Actors of Urban Change, a program by Robert Bosch Stiftung in cooperation with MitOst e.V.
Actors of Urban Change is a program organized by the Robert Bosch Foundation in cooperation with mitost e.V. All over Europe, the project mobilizes trans-sector teams to participate in the creation of urban societies. At Make City, Actors of Urban Change will be presenting an exhibition and a panel discussion. Both contributions will be held at the CLB Berlin, Collabroarotorim im Aufbau Haus, a new assembly point for urban projects.
Light installations in public spaces, theater plays in courtyards, ‘bike kitchens’; these represent just a handful of the 10 diverse cultural projects that will be presented in the exhibition. All interventions share in common the fact that they seek to have a direct impact upon how we engage with both our cities and neighbourhoods, and how we might change our habits and behaviors accordingly.
The teams behind the projects are fine examples of a cross-sector collaboration model which includes those with administrative, business and civil-service backgrounds. Representatives from come from Athens (Greece), Aveiro (Portugal), Barcelona (Spain), Berlin (Germany), Bratislava (Slovakia), Kaunas (Lithuania), Lublin (Poland), Maribor (Slovenia), Zagreb (Croatia) and Zugdidi (Georgia).
Opening 11 JUN, 19:00-21:00No Registration Required
