With a proposal comprising of five high wooden housing blocks by the Spree, Eckwerk Berlin is trying to do everything right; seeking answers to social, economic and environmental issues via the creation of an urban housing cooperative that brings together the interests of the creative and architectural communities as well as those of investors and developers. The result: affordable, sustainable living and working space for new communities.

Following the studio talk design students from the FH Potsdam will open their think tank of to the public.

As cooperation with the BSR and Holzmarkt the students, supervised by Prof. Alexandra Martini are participating in the design process of the Eckwerk.


During this cocktail talk, representatives from architects GRAFT, Kleihues + Kleihues and the Cooperative for Urban Creativity (GuK) will lay out their vision. The participatory process they have initiated is already making the world a little bit better.
