This question, asked by several women living alone, was the starting point for a community-based residential project. In Berlin more than 600,000 women live on their own &#8211; a challenge which must be met by modern, future-oriented living concepts.<br \/>\nA community residential project offers the freedom and security to develop such ideas. Beginenwerk have set out to create a community based on voluntary participation and awareness. The result? A lively, intimate neighbourhood in which women of all ages, single or attached, can live in solidarity \u2013 maintaining and determining their own level independence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"excerpt\">How do we want to live &#8211; not only now but as we age?
