{"id":11383,"date":"2015-04-06T18:31:57","date_gmt":"2015-04-06T16:31:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lisabaur.com\/berlin\/?p=11383"},"modified":"2015-06-05T11:47:22","modified_gmt":"2015-06-05T09:47:22","slug":"la-citta-aperta","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/makecity.berlin\/en\/11383\/la-citta-aperta\/","title":{"rendered":"La Citt\u00e0 Aperta"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Italian Cultural Institute Berlin shows two current projects from Labics, Mast and Citt\u00e0 del Sole, photographed\u00a0by Helene Binet and Fernando Guerra.\u00a0Both understand architecture as being inextricably linked with urban planning and, seek to bring into being responsibly-designed spaces that promote an awareness of community amongst those who use them.<br \/>\nThese projects will find themselves confronted with the public spaces of Italy\u2019s historical urban past. Their character is based on the \u201cmorphological and spatial qualities\u201d of the places in question, and consider how effective these original incarnations were in creating clearly defined, open pieces of urban space.
