The symposium \u201cBeware of Smart People!\u201d addresses the conflictual reality in which Smart City approaches are currently unfolding. International scholars and practitioners will reflect on the \u201cSmart City\u201d as a contested paradigm; shift the discourse towards the notion of the urban as co-produced by many voices and actors. and attempt to redefine \u201cSmart City\u201d by putting ordinary citizens as \u201csmart people\u201d at the core of the debate.
