The demand from citizens to participate in the process is also having significant influence upon the direction of urban planning. But where can space be found to develop a radical, new and sustainable model city that respects both market realities and different lifestyles? What, for example, are the negative consequences of initiatives like Tempelhofer Feld 100%? Berlin is a city that\u2019s open to innovation, combining sustainable urban development with active technology transfer: ergo, the perfect conditions for experimental, interdisciplinary city-making.
