At the same time, the house sees itself as an international communication platform \u2013 en embassy that aims to bridge the gap between politicians, professional bodies and the public. Providing a sheltered space for communication on an equal footing, people are encouraged to take a more active, participatory role in society \u2013 beginning with the local.
