Lina Streeruwitz, StudioVlayStreeruwitz

Lina Streeruwitz studied architecture in Vienna and Buenos Aires. While working on a number of smaller projects, she wrote her doctoral thesis about architecture’s fascination with disorder, titled “Grass Grid Dust Nothing”. In 2009 she started to work with Bernd Vlay at Studiovlay, becoming a partner 2017. Their practice, StudioVlayStreeruwitz, engages in architectural projects, especially in the area of subsidized housing, develops strategies for the planning of new urban quarters and does research on urban issues, with a focus on mixed use.
