Program

Moritzplatz is a compelling and challenging node at the heart of Berlin with a fascinating history. Witness to numerous urban initiatives taking place around it, it remains in desperate need of improvements of its own. The Moritzpool project proposes to cut into the roundabout at its centre, an expanse that is currently inaccessible to the public. The result would be greatly enhanced pedestrian crossings, upgraded U-Bahn access and the lending of a sense of dignity to one of the significant sites of urban connection: minimal measure with a maximum impact.
ALAS invites Make City visitors to join a participative action intended to demonstrate the transformative effects of the proposal. Join us and reclaim the sky!
